Dino: The Essential Dean Martin, by Dean Martin (2004)

Mitzi’s Top 10

When Mitzi was in Girl Scouts, anywhere from second to sixth grade (she can’t specifically recall), her troop, complete with wine glasses and unlit cigarettes,  sang along with and danced to “That’s Amore” at a Girl Scout festival, with other Girl Scouts and their parents in the audience.

It was a lot of fun, so much so that Dave and Mitzi had their daughters’ troop re-enact it (sans cigarettes) at a Girl Scout get together.  It was also lots of fun.  How could it not be?!?

Dino: The Essential Dean Martin is, indeed, “essential.”  Dean Martin is a national treasure, and his songs are, mostly, still enjoyable. Of interest, this collection is arranged so that the songs follow an arc that starts out full of hope, love, and passion, and ends up seeking and begging for release from a love gone wrong.
